I (Debbie) have always wanted to run my own business and after I had travelled part of the world, seeing loads of cool food trucks at loads of many amazing food festivals, I realised that this was something that I wanted to share back in Northern Ireland and so, in May 2018 I finally took the plunge and created my own business.

After a bit of research into the perfect mobile unit, I decided to convert a vintage rice trailer horsebox into a fully equipped barista dessert bar that I could take to events, private hire, weddings, corporate events and much more. 

​

Bringing Crumb and Beyond to life was so much fun; from designing, to picking graphics and creating that perfect rustic feel. I do remember many headaches and a lot of stress – but that’s the joys of creating your own business, right?! 

 

We offer award winning coffee which is roasted locally within Northern Ireland, and many yummy tray bakes, all hand-baked by me.

We create the most delicious and unique mini donut ball desserts, which a machine was designed specially to make our tasty, little treats. The donuts are smothered in luxury sauces and toppings and are a real hit with all our customers, amongst other items on the menu.

 

I am so grateful and glad that I took the step to establish
Crumb and Beyond.

I always urge anyone who wants to do something in life, especially setting up their own business, to just do it. I am so proud of how it is today. I’m not going to lie, it been a lot of hard work, but soooo worth it. I couldn’t have done it without the support of my family also, especially my Mum, she has a background in the catering industry; I guess I must be “a chip off the old block”!
